A Vibrant, Dual-Purpose Breed
Few breeds can compare to the gloriously-colored and well-mannered Blue Laced Red Wing Wyandotte.
Known for their dual-purpose egg and meat production, and their striking red and steel gray coloring, the BLRW Wyandotte is a favorite in any backyard flock. They are quiet, easy to maintain, friendly, and incredibly winter hardy! Capable of laying 245 large tan eggs every year, they not only pull their weight in production but personality as well!
Blue Laced Red Wing Wyandottes do not breed true to color, similar to other "blue" breeds. They operate with a blue-black-splash genetic color wheel so the blue color will vary between individuals. Our BLRW's were purchased as hatching eggs from a local breeder in Iowa.
