"We have a herd of goats that live in our pasture, but also have quite a few coyotes in our area. We knew we needed a couple LGD's that could live with them 24/7, but we also needed a dog that was a bit older and already started. I contacted Kim [owner of Ewawki River] about an older pup she had and she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in answering all of my questions.
We wanted to make sure the dog was a right fit for us and our farm. Having a dog that is protective of their goats and area as well as being stranger wary, along with being loving and affectionate to us and our three young girls were all very important to us. Kim helped answer any questions we had to make sure the placement worked seemlessly.
Dex has been an amazing addition to our farm. He does his job very well and we have peace of mind knowing that he's in the pasture with the goats keeping them safe."

Groot is growing into such an amazing LGD. He absolutely loves his job! He gets play time with the house dogs and shuts play down if they get to frisky around his herd. He’s developing his big boy bark but only to alert. We could not be more pleased with your selective homing of your pups; you nailed this fit to our farm.
*UPDATE*
He is the BEST! We opened the gate to greener pastures with Groot taking a head count! He hangs back with the little babies that don't go to pasture and will lay down beside them watching the rest of his herd. Amazing! He does his job flawlessly and is definitely an asset to our farm. We wouldn't know what to do without him!

"I thought you'd like to see the big, pretty girl that she is. Even though she's very photogenic, she always looks so serious in all of her pics. But, she is a very happy, affectionate girl & her tail never stops wagging around us!
We saw her stalk a mouse for the 1st time out in the shop/barn the other night. She's going to be putting some lazy cats out of work! She growls & barks at the coyotes when they howl. We are still surprised that such deep, mean sounds are coming from her! She's a perfect pack member for our other two dogs and we feel that we got a custom-ordered puppy from you!"
*UPDATE*
"While I was watching her run, I thought about how fast, sleek & graceful she's becoming. She's growing into such a beautiful dog & she is still just as sweet & charming as ever. I always hope that you think that we're the perfect home for her because she is the dog that we were hoping to get but didn't think that we would actually find!"

"I also want to say that you did perfect on my girls twice! I just hope that you can see [from the pictures] how happy everyone is!"

2017 Litter - Male/Female Pair
"We love them so much! They are doing great with goats and horses. It's taking every bit of our resolve not to turn them into house dogs; they're so sweet!"
*UPDATE*
"Colt is so much bigger than his sister now and has to be pushing a hundred pounds. Taurus is lean and dainty. They are both amazing with my little boy, despite their already large size and no matter how much they play and bounce around him, they've been so careful to not knock him over. Can't say that for other large breeds I have!
Overall, we couldn't be happier with them, they're very good at their jobs already and so friendly and sweet!"
